The Board of Directors believes that dividends paid should strike a balance between ensuring sufficient capital is available for the Company to achieve its long-term strategic objectives and providing shareholders with an attractive return on investment in the near term. Before making any recommendation for dividends to be paid, the Board of Directors will take into account factors including, but not limited to, the future prospects of the Company, future capital and operating expenditure plans, the Company's financial results, interests of all shareholders, the Company's capital structure and debt ratings and the cost of raising funds from alternate sources. The final dividend is proposed by the Board of Directors and is approved by the shareholders of the Company in the Annual General Meeting. In addition, the Directors, through a Resolution may also declare the interim dividend(s) during the year.
