Fleet & Capabilities
Drilling Operations
OGDC brings decades of expertise in drilling operations across Pakistan, including the country's most remote and challenging terrains. With a strong focus on operational excellence and safety, our professionals and advanced technologies ensure reliable and efficient drilling performance nationwide.
Our current fleet includes five drilling rigs of 2000 HP — two of which are equipped with TDS-VFD systems — and two workover rigs of 750 HP and 650 HP each. To support our extensive drilling campaigns, we also engage contractor-operated rigs across various regions.
Technical Support
Drilling Allied Services
OGDC's in-house Drilling Allied Services provide critical technical support to ensure the success of drilling operations.
Drilling Fluids
Expertly managing advanced water-based and oil-based drilling fluid systems supported by a team of seasoned Drilling Fluid Engineers, tailored to diverse geological conditions.
Cementation
Cementing Operations are supported by six high-performance cementation pumping units (550 HHP), ten Fly & Batch mixers, high-pressure silos, and air compressors, executed by experienced engineers.
Laboratory Support
A state-of-the-art Drilling Fluid & Cementation Laboratory enables precise evaluation and customized solution design, ensuring service quality and operational integrity.
Stimulation Services
Capabilities include tubing cleanout, perforation wash, nitrogen kick-off, Nitrogen Purging & Pressure Testing during Annual Turn Around (ATA) utilizing one Coil Tubing and three Nitrogen Pumping Units.
Logistics Support
Logistics operations anchored by a fleet of over 55 vehicles & cranes managed from two strategically located bases, ensuring uninterrupted transportation across the Northern and Southern regions.
