Mr. Muhammad Aamir Salim

Mr. Muhammad Aamir Salim currently serves as the Executive Director (Petroserv) at OGDC, a position he has held since August 2019. With a distinguished career spanning 26 years in the oil and gas industry, he has made significant contributions to the sector and OGDC.

In addition to his role at OGDC, Mr. Salim represents OGDC on the Mari Petroleum Company Limited (MPCL) Board of Directors since April 2023, where he serves as a Non-Executive Director and member of the Investment, Technical and ESG Committees.

Mr. Salim started his career in 1996 with Schlumberger Sedco Forex and worked in various operational and engineering roles across countries such as Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia and UAE. Prior to joining OGDC, Mr. Salim spent eight years with Arabian Drilling Company, a Schlumberger Joint Venture, where he held senior leadership positions in Operations Management, Offshore Rigs Construction Projects, Corporate HSE, and Operations Compliance.
